Recently while reading an article in a magazine this question popped out at me:
Do my brothers and sisters see me as being like a second mom or as a friend?
It can be hard because I am put in charge of my brothers and sisters a lot, baby-sitting them, etc. But, I'm wanting to work on not being a boss, encouraging and praising them, taking the time to play with them more, and be a big sister they can look up to as a true friend. Let me tell you one thing I've noticed for sure: a little bit of praise makes them so happy! It's amazing what a few encouraging words can do! :)
